About Dallas Chapple

Upon graduation from the University of British Columbia, Dallas was off to France to study at the renowned Sorbonne. She then did her doctorate in the "Sociology of Mass Communications" at the University of Paris and returned to Canada as a Corporate Planning Consultant with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. While at the CBC she met and married her husband, Len Chapple. Len's broadcasting assignments took them from Toronto to Calgary for the Olympics in l988 and then, for the next two years, to Seattle for the Goodwill Games.

Having had an extensive basis for comparison, Dallas and Len decided on Victoria as their permanent home in l990. Dallas joined RE/MAX in l99l and is delighted with her decision to become an Associate with the office which garners a 27% market share in Victoria.

Dallas is very involved with the community having chaired RE/MAX's Institutional Advertising Committee (a fund dedicated to supporting community events) for six years. Dallas has also worked for several years on the Miracle Open, a golf tournament held annually at Uplands Golf Club to raise money for B.C.'s Children's Hospital (over $30,000 per year!) Dallas has chaired the "Festival of Trees" at the Empress Hotel (a B.C.'s Children's Hospital fundraiser) and she is a past board member for the Victoria Commuity's Board for B.C.'s Children's Hospital. Dallas was the Vice-President of the Victoria Symphony's Board of Directors. Her love of music comes to her through her parents. Her father is the renowned Big Band and Swing orchestra leader, Dal Richards.

Dallas' community participation extends to include memberships with Rotary International, Oak Bay Chapter and Business Network International (BNI). She is past present of the latter.

Dallas has attained the highest level in RE/MAX: the Platinum Club and is in the Hall of Fame. She is consistently in the top 3% in RE/MAX in Canada .
